I will be attending Easter Vigil this year.
That night is also my friend’s going-away party at a local club. He will be shipping out to Iraq the following Monday.
It just seems weird to me to attend a traditional and holy event like Easter Vigil and then to run right up to the club where, I can promise you, nothing holy or traditional has EVER gone on.
We’re both really busy with our families and work so I suspect this will be my only opportunity to see him before he ships out. I would like to be at his party to wish him well, but I don’t want to give a scandalous appearance.
Opinions?
Thanks in advance!
