Is it just me, or is there rarely young adults in church?

I see numbers vary at our parish, depending on the time of the year. I give the benefit of the doubt thinking that the people are going to Church where they are traveling. Things usually pick up around September, as most “family moves” are completed around that time. Our JOB, is to keep praying for our fellow Catholics, without ceasing that they not only attend mass regularly, but also encourage others to do so.
