Who said we need a real-life model of such a government?
I did. Moreover, the integrity of this ridiculous discussion requires it.
Who said we need a real-life model of such a government?
That’s already happening. We have people who think that spending more money than we make is okay, for one.Are you suggesting that society be run by [the incompetent]?
but until then we need to do the best we can utilizing experts.
It’s a hideous crime against humanity!!! Ask yourself: What are we doing to try and correct these types of atrocities?
The masses of people are unaware of the severity. Why? Few mention it. Why? It’s not just their political and economic system, it’s that the world has been silenced!
Why are you so kind and understanding?

Why are you so inexorably close-minded?Why are you so kind and understanding?![]()
Envisioning a political system based on ‘experts’ is closed-minded?Why are you so inexorably close-minded?
Yes, it is, when you can see before your eyes dozens of examples of nations that tried this and failed utterly. When you continue to hold up the ideal when the real-life examples are utter failures, that’s close-minded.Envisioning a political system based on ‘experts’ is closed-minded?
How many nations have this type of expertise available to them? The US for one, and it does have the CIA. Can you name another nation that has a true central intelligence based on experts and failed?Yes, it is, when you can see before your eyes dozens of examples of nations that tried this and failed utterly. Hee hee. I’ll do better than that. How many nations have this type of expertise available to them? The US for one, and it does have the CIA. Can you name another nation that has a true central intelligence based on experts and failed?
You try to paint such a gloomy picture using so few facts. People like to attack the UN, but it’s a functional and critical part of world cooperation between nations. It’s there because it has yet to fail, and world leaders welcome its influence in world peacekeeping.Hee hee. I’ll do better than that.
Look at the UN. Therein lies collected a “superb” group of “intelligent”, “knowledgeable”, and “well-meaning” “experts”. Look at how horribly they have failed Europe as a whole.
The US, too. The liberals are gradually giving the government more and more power, centralizing the nation’s power in fewer and fewer hands. Look how that’s doing for us. Unemployment is going up. Food, gas, electric, and other living expenses are positively rocketing. Our freedoms are being hacked down one at a time.
Yeah. Your ideal elitist government is going perfectly.
Remember when the UN intervened in Rwanda to stop the genocide? That was genius. The expertise all around was stunning to behold. You try to paint such a gloomy picture using so few facts. It’s there because it has yet to fail, and world leaders welcome its influence in world peacekeeping.
Blaming all of America’s ills on liberals is scapegoating. It’s an easy to spot fallacy that reveals faulty logic in the writer’s argument.
You have said nothing meaningful. I have stated that the UN, which governs Europe, is failing, as can be seen quite obviously by the visible state of Europe at this moment. You have stated that the UN still placed a “functional and critical” role between nations… without giving any example that can back up that statement. You try to paint such a gloomy picture using so few facts. It’s you who is attacking the UN using you’re own thought-up criticisms. You have said nothing meaningful. I concede that every institution has a purpose, but the UN has done far more harm than good in Europe.
This thread has done nothing but reinforce what I understand of your preconceived opinions.
That’s all you’ve got? It’s you who is attacking the UN using you’re own thought-up criticisms.
We’re entering a new age where economies need to be rebuilt to minimize greed, power and prestige. What I gave to you is a viable alternative, and you make like an expert on all your thought-up criticisms. That’s all you’ve got?
Where is your crushing evidence of the success of elitist rule?
Where is the proof that a government by a minority of “experts” is the best form of government?
Where in this world, now or at any point in the past, has this ideal worked?
Am I the only person who thinks this whole concept is a bit loopy?
Still nothing. We’re entering a new age where economies need to be rebuilt to minimize greed, power and prestige. What I gave to you is a viable alternative, and you make like an expert on all your thought-up criticisms.
Your insistence that new political or economic systems cannot be taken seriously is ludicrous.Still nothing.
Robert, I think that this discussion no longer has anywhere to go, since you have nothing but words to throw at me. I’ll return if something interesting happens.
I haven’t seen anything new that hasn’t been suggested in numerous freshman sociology papers before. That’s the problem.Your insistence that new political or economic systems cannot be taken seriously is ludicrous.
Why is that?? North Korea is a dictatorship, we are talking about socialism and capitalism here. You might want to check with the people of North Korea.
