Is it mandatory to name a baby after a saint?

Is it mandatory for newborns to still be given saints names in their official birth names or merely tradition? Are the parents obligated to include a saint’s name in their child’s birth name (e.g., middle name or names) or do they have the option of just using “modern” names if they so choose?
