Tell us how the meal was. If the local critics are to be trusted, it sounds like a very nice evening.Good point. Thanks.
Edit:
I just finished calling in the reservation.

The cult of Bacchus hasn’t existed for over a millennium, why would you be concerned? It’s a marketing gimmick.Actually, the restaurant is named after Bacchus which, from what I have looked up, is the name for the Roman god of wine and intoxication and is supposed to be equated with the Greek Dionysus.
Yes, some people realize there is more to morals than good intentions.I’m asking this question honestly…so please, no one jump on me for asking it in case I’m wrong…but…are you really asking this sincerely or are you pulling everyone’s leg?
You should stop worrying and enjoy your meal there. My wife and I are both Catholic. We found this restaurant that got a good review by a restaurant critic, but it has a design that is modeled after an ancient temple that was made for the worship of a foreign god. So, I need to know if it can be morally permissible to eat at such an establishment or if we should look for a different restaurant.
I’m not a troll. It was a question that came to my mind. I asked it because I care about trying to live my faith, and it’s a question that has never been asked by anyone on here. And if you read through the thread, it didn’t take long before I accepted that it’s okay to go to the restaurant. It’s just…it worries me when people are so afraid, that they fear eating at a restaurant. So then I think the question can’t be true and maybe it’s a “troller” etc…
:: Offers a hug:: We’ve had a couple trolls come through recently asking peculiar questions, so that might have had a few people wary. But it’s been a fun discussion, and I’m glad we all had this conversation!I’m not a troll. It was a question that came to my mind.
