I was intending to go to mass but I was feeling sick earlier, I ended up going but there was no parking and mass had begun so i went back home and watched it live as my church live streams the masses.
Does it still count as missing mass?
Have I committed a mortal sin?

None of the Holy Week liturgies are Holy Days of Obligation. We are only required to attend Sunday Mass (the Vigil on Saturday or any Mass on Sunday), just like every Sunday.

You’re welcome. God bless you too. 🙏

And welcome to CAF, by the way 🙂

I have another question related to Holy Week: can I do studies on Good Friday and Holy Saturday? It is not undergraduate studies, it’s further studies.

How about servile work? Can I do servile work on those 2 days?

Thank you so much in advance, have a blessed week.

They are not Holy Days and you can do anything you want on these days. Studies and servile work are OK.

That said, Good Friday is the day when we commemorate the crucifixion of Our Lord, so you must fast and abstain from meat. You should also endeavor to keep the day rather solemn; I wouldn’t recommend, for instance, going to a comedy club or seeing a funny movie. The hours from 12 to 3 pm are especially solemn. But if you have daily duty (the study and/or servile work you mention), that is fine. Try to spend some time in church if you can.
