can you please explane to me … i’m realy confused :(]

Ask yourself these questions:

Are YOU a human?
Is your DAD a human?

If you answered “Yes” to these questions. You’re got 90% of it.

Now, are YOU also your DAD?

If you said “No”, then you’ve got 95% of it.

Read THIS ARTICLE and it will clear up stuff.

I don’t know

But i notice the difference between how clear the man in the video and your vague answers 😦

Which man, the caller or the host?
What is that you seek, to be answered?
Welcome to the forum.🙂

Wow. The guy on the video is doing a horrible job. In fact, he’s doing such a poor job explaining, that it makes me think that this isn’t a real attempt to explain Christianity; rather, it looks like it’s a set up, in an attempt to make Christianity look bad.

Oh, yeah – “Peter, Paul, and Mary” as Gospel writers? – yeah, right. It’s a joke in extremely poor taste.

I meant the caller …

I don’t have special question but why he didn’t answer the caller questions in clear why ?
Didn’t we have the right religion !!!

Did you read the article I posted?

Theology is not to be done by YouTube, but by asking the right people and reading the right material.

The Father is a Person, who has the Divine (Godly) Nature.
The Son is a Person who has the Divine (Godly) Nature.
The Holy Spirit is a Person who has the Divine (Godly) Nature.

In a similar way:
You are a Person who has a Human Nature.
Your father is a Person who has a Human Nature.
You are not the same person as your father, but you both have the same nature.

The YouTube movie is confused and doesn’t know what he is talking about.
When Christians say “The Son is God” and “The Father is God,” that does not mean “The Son is also the Father”.

look what did i found about our religion ,
Are you sure that this guy… Richard… is Catholic and has an accurate and thorough understanding of not just Scripture, but Philosophy, Theology, and Catholic Apologetics as well?

Anyone can set up some call-in show and post videos on the internet. That does not make him an expert or even well disposed to answering questions.
Since it seems to be this one quy who struggles with answering the question… make sure your faith is not based on HIM or his apparent lack of knowledge.

Since it has subtitles… I think it was actually intended NOT for Catholic apologetics, not for a Christians but for the Islamic faith. That seems to be the target audience based on the title and subtitles.

The issue of the Trinity is an important topic… I agree, however You Tube is not the media for such an advanced topic. A call in show is not a valid media, I think for such a heady and complicated topic.
I also have issues with the inaccuracies of the video. I don’t think Richard or his call screner are educated enough to handle calls about Catholicism or even Christianity in general.
can you please explane to me … i’m realy confused 😦
What are you specifically confused about?
If God is Triune or not?
Personhood vs. Nature?
The Divinity of Christ?

Can you put it into your own words what it is that you are confused about. Distill it down to 1 question for us?

And it might be helpful to know if you are Catholic, Christian, or Muslim… so we know how to frame our responses.

God Bless

( Gorgias , Catholic Dude , Jschutzm ) thank you for your posts really …

but the reason why i sined here in " Catholic Answers " is because in last days i seem interested in watching " Christians and Muslims " on YouTube
and i found things need answers ,where i wish you can here …

One of my questions is , why do some priests entered Islam with the knowledge that their religion is stronger than regular people . While on the other hand , even regular Muslims do not convert to Christianity

one of them >>

Well, first, I think it’s not true that “even regular Muslims do not convert to Christianity”; personally, I’ve heard of a number of these cases. However, if a Muslim were to convert to Christianity but stay in his same area of residence, Islamic law would permit for him to be executed. In those cases, I think it’s obvious why such converts might choose not to publicize their conversion! 😉

Why would priests convert to Islam? Well, priests are people, too – and since religion requires faith, and humans can waver in their faith, it follows that priests can fall prey to the same doubts that any other person can.

Again I have to caution you to using YouTube as an authorative place for theological discussion and information about the faith.

Can we stick to 1 question and not many? Or at the very least post your separate questions in separate forum posts?
In other words… 1 question or topic per post, not many.
Catholics sometimes jokingly call this the 'doctrinal dance" where non-Catholics like to shift the question to something else, just as some headway is being made.

I hope you understand how confusing that can be.

Secondly, the assumption is that Priest’s religion is stronger (as if it is a super power or something) then the laity (regular people) - that may not be a correct assumption… at least not in all cases. Their ‘religion’ is not like a superpower that is better then everyone else’s. They can be deceived like anyone else or have defects in their own understanding of the faith, just like everyone else. Therefore it is entirely possible that even though that particular Priest may feel a calling, they can still escercise their own freewill and leave the faith. They are not above having their faith tested and to even waver and doubt. Perhaps they were never that knowledgeable to begin with?.. I don’t know and that’s not for me to say.
Sadly, there are many who were very badly educated and catechized. The Catholic church is beginning to realize that through the 70s and 80s in particular… there were entire generations of badly educated Catholics, including Priests.

So it may not be much of a surprise to Catholics that a small percent of these men are then preyed upon by Muslims and, yes, in some cases, converted.

To me it seemed the host was a poser. He had no real knowledge of what he was talking about.

The doctrine of the trinity is not easily explained without a firm knowldege of what one is talking about. With scripture we know that Christ is God, for no man has the power to lay down his life and the power to take it back up again.Gospel by St.John 10:17-18.

The history and source of Islam is all on one man. Christianity has it’s roots is Judaism, which is much older that Islam.

Hmmmm

Methinks noura may not be what he/she claims to be.

noura, or whoever, there are thousands of Muslim converts to Christianity.
I know many. There are some on these boards.

No… yeah, I agree. :😉: :😉:

But until Noura formally states her/his religious background… what can we do.

This forum is open to people of all religious backgrounds and persuasions. So if the OP sticks to 1 question, I still see merit in answering the questions.

The clear teaching in this thread has given me no choice but to renounce Catholicism and convert to Zoroastrianism.
