Is it OK to get the propers for each Sunday’s TLM from Angelqueen.org? I don’t know much about that site, but I’ve recently heard that it is radically traditional, and that it may not be OK to visit it. I haven’t visited the site yet, but someone gave me a link to it to get the propers for each Sunday’s TLM. The only thing that I would be visiting that site for is to get the propers, so I can learn them before choir practice. Would this be ok?

I read those forums all the time. There’s a very high concentration of “radtrads”, but more moderate voices are also heard. Also, the site’s articles seem pretty mild.

Other opinions are nothing to be afraid of.

Don’t you know that rad trad sites such as angelqueen.org will send voodoo vibes through your computer and turn you into a sedevacantist before you can even blink?

:rotfl:

Propers are propers.

Some of the people on the forum may be heretics or schismatics… but some people on the Catholic Answers Forum may be as well. (I’ve got my eye on some of you… :hmmm:) It doesn’t change the fact that if they’re sharing the text of the Mass, it’s probably the correct text of the Mass.

While I agree with what you’re trying to say, it’s important to note that some opinions are worth keeping at a distance. It wasn’t all that long ago that the Church kept a pretty public list of books that should be burned rather than read because the ideas they expressed where harmful or dangerous.

Strangely, those texts would probably look more like a church bulletin in some California or New England parishes than it would look like AngelQueen. 😉

Thanks guies for the help. I may take a look at their forums, just to see what they say. I’ve found that even with the most radical of traditionalists, that even though I disagree with them on most of their arguments, there are some points that I can agree with them on. In fact, some of my friends in the choir are more traditional than I am, yet we get along fine.

Oh and BTW, to the person who made the comment about the voodoo vibes, LOL!

Haha, but of course one could not “help” but to pick up some of those nasty, traditional germs spreading over there!

In all seriousness, AngelQueen is a very good (and, accurate) website.
