Hi there,
I have been asked to play music as a featured artist for a diplomatic dinner event organised by a group of Protestant Christians. The dinner event is with the Israeli ambassador for our country.
I have played for them before, including an arrangement of the Israeli national anthem, but I’ve since heard opposing views on Israel from Catholics on both sides (pro-Israel, two-state solution, anti-Israel [against zionism, perhaps, especially of the type advocated in some Protestant theologies], etc.), and was wondering if any of this went against the Church’s view.
Thank you for your answers in advance.
