I have a friend who is Hindu and is getting married, and I was invited to her wedding ceremony and reception. I know the reception is okay to go to but what about the ceremony itself? I’m sure they have some sort of worship of their god during it and I’m not sure if being there is a sin for me or not. I need to know this before I can reply to the invitation.

Assuming that there are no obvious impediments to the marriage (e.g., previous marriage, close blood relationship), the Church would presume the wedding to be valid. So long as you are there as a non-participatory guest and not a worshipper in the religious rituals of a non-Christian religion, you are free to attend the wedding ceremony.
