Is it okay to be a good friend with a homosexual person?

I am a teenager and I have a good friend who is homosexual. She knows that I do not support homosexual marriage at all. We usually do not talk about that topic to avoid getting in to an argument. I have been very worried though that I am somehow sinning in being a close friend to her. I would really appreciate an answer, as this is very troubling for me. Thank you.
