Is it okay to cross oneself with the left-hand, if left-handed?

Hello,
I am left-handed and would like to know if it’s okay to cross myself with my left hand.
When I was younger (40 yrs ago!) , I was tought my left hand was evil and I needed to use
my right. I recently asked my parish priest and he said “I’ve never been asked that before, but It Should Take” I felt a little insecure with that, and was wondering if there’s any reason using the left-hand is banded or frowned upon.
