Is it okay to go to a protestant youth group?

Hi,

i am a practicing Catholic and i am raising my two children as Catholics as well. they go to religious ed. every Sunday before Mass. my brother is a protestant and has invited them to go to their “youth group/religious ed.” with my niece. I am thinking this may not be a proper thing to do? I also don’t want to hurt his feelings if I tell him that it is not accepted. any insights are greatly appreciated. thanks!
