If someone is in the hospital and is told by Doctors that there is nothing more that can be done for them with regard to improving their medical condition, is it ok for them (the ill) to not want to be resuscitated (DNR) if they go into cardiac arrest, renal failure, etc. (i.e., they effectively die)?
I’m not a medical person (to say the least), but this happened very recently to someone I love very much, and I would like the peace of knowing that his DNR request was in full keeping with The Holy Catholic Apostolic Church.
