If a catholic was invited to attend church with a person from a another denomination, would it be alright for the catholic to recieve communion? Or would it not be?
Just curious …If a catholic was invited to attend church with a person from a another denomination, would it be alright for the catholic to recieve communion? Or would it not be?
You can’t judge the seriousness of a sin by how your confessor reacts or doesn’t react - for one they really do hear it all in confession, so perhaps they don’t react to much anyways. My brother was married in a non-catholic ceremony where “communion” was offered. I partook, and then went to confession. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings, but I hurt Jesus’ feelings instead…not good. Although I have to say, my confessor didn’t seem to put out by it.
