If you are going to use resin incense and a coal, make sure you have good ventilation!

I still have some from years ago…loved burning those little charcoal discs…just make sure you have a burner that will take the heat if that is what you are using, and make sure it is insulated from any wood furniture you may put it on…

Memories…

I use sticks and cones myself. It’s easier and less of a fire hazard! 🔥🚒

I use sticks now too…mostly Nag Champa, it makes the house smell nice…then again some call me a hippie…🥴

At our wedding this past December, father used so much incense the fire alarms went off… we had to evacuate and start the wedding over again.

Ooh…thanks for that!

I was just at Amazon right now perusing the incense after reading this thread looking for a burner.

I used to have this old antique cast iron bullet mold ladle I burned charcoal in but it has taken flight into the unknown…

Sticks mucho better

Those incense cones smell EXACTLY like mass incense. 👍👍

Just be courteous of others. Some people are really sensitive to it.

I’ve used it in the past, and find that it allows my mind to focus. :pray:t2:

Might now just be classical conditioning. 😉

I love Nag Champa.
There’s a ahem psychedelic shop near me where they have all sorts of incense and burners and stuff.

Just don’t buy a Buddha shaped incense burner and you should be all right

Thank you. In times of stress, this will help me keep my mind on prayer.

If you are a tenant, and your landlord has prohibited smoking on the premises, maybe not.

The smoke particles can stick to the curtains, walls, carpet, and a lot of people in 2018 are hyper-sensitive to this kind of thing.

I recently visited a cathedral and the smell of incense really got on my chest. I’d had a cough for a couple of weeks and I really had to control my breathing.

I wouldn’t use it at home, I don’t need much before prayer.
