Is it okay to use psychic detectives?

What is the Catholic Church teaching on the use of a psychic detective? In my mind I think of them more as people who have accepted ONE of the GIFTS of the Holy Spirit, the GIFT of KNOWLEDGE. That this is a gift that we ALL HAVE, but not all use. Isn’t there a GIFT OF TONGUES? I believe in it, don’t reject it, but have not used it. As a GIFT, it is GIVEN to us. We can reject, use, even abuse it…OR even refuse it(?) Can you tell I’m confused. In any case I don’t see a psychic DETECTIVE as being a type of sorcerer, charlatan type, especially if they have been veted by law enforcement, who themselves are stimied as to HOW these people come to be able to help them. Thanks.:confused
