I have a question regarding watching the Latin Mass. I have grown vert attached to the traditional Mass, however I am unable to get to a real one that is not:

A) Sedevacantist
B) Schismatical

So, seeing that I have no other choice, I will attend the Ordinary form of the Mass and is it acceptable to view / watch the Latin Mass on youtube? I am so attached to it and it pains me that I cannot get to one that is authorized. I feel so alone in my diocese being so young, and most priests and people in my diocese are very progressive and the Bishop plans on getting rid of the Latin Mass altogether.

Thank you so much for any help that you can provide me.

YES! Absoutely;
SO LONG AS IT DOES NOT REPLACE YOUR REGULAR SUNDAY /JOLYDAY OBLIGATIONS TO “ATTEND” MASS.

God Bless you,
Patrick

I second PJM on this. I am unclear, however, why you thought it would be wrong. Once one has fulfilled one’s Sunday/Holy Day obligation, certainly it’s fine to watch any other Mass being celebrated. I also enjoy doing so and I feel that it is an edifying supplement to my Mass attendance. As is reading the Bible, praying the Rosary, etc.
