Hello,
Is it permissible to kneel after Agnus Dei in a diocese where the bishop declared the laity are to stand? I would also like to know what is the preferred practice globally and in the US? If you kneel how long are you to remain in that position? I am in Orange County California and out here everyone stands. I understand that Rome allowed each bishop to determine posture after Agnus Dei, but what I don’t understand is whether kneeling is allowed for those who wish to do so.
Thank you,
Anthony
