Is it permissible to use a plastic bowl to hold holy water?

I went to a different parish to attend Sunday Mass and they had their holy water in a clear plastic serving bowl (the kind you would use to serve salad to a large family). Regular parishioners would dip their fingers in the bowl and bless themselves as they entered. I was wonerding if it was permissible to store holy water in a plastic serving bowl.

If that is the best that they have available, I don’t see why not. Some people store holy water in small plastic bottles so they can carry it with them.
