When you sin, you need repent.

If you fall and commit the same sin again, you repent again.

As long as you have a breath of life, you can repent.

Limitlessness, infinite is God’s mercy. There is no “only 10 times in Confession then no more forgiveness”.

When we struggle with a habitual sin, it is good to talk to a priest or spiritual director to explore ways to break the habit.

This is your second “woe is me” thread.

Seriously, you give yourself too much credit if you think you’ve done worse than Judas or those who crucified him. And you give God too little credit with his love. In a twisted way, this is pride. So what if they did not know, and you do? Since you know, you should know better: God is Love. If you think you’re SOOOOO bad that God cannot forgive you, don’t you think you’re making yourself greater than God?

Why not (1) humble yourself before what Jesus did for you on the cross, and be grateful, for crying out loud, and (2) find out what the real issue is with you.

Even “loved less” may not be correct, I believe. God can certainly disapprove of our behavior; but He loves each and every one of us the same.

More than Hitler? More than Stalin? I seriously doubt it. Confess sincerely and G-d will forgive you.

God loves each of us as much as we have the capacity to receive that love. The 5 oz glass and the 50 gallon drum are both filled to capacity.

Is G-d’s love conditional on our capacity to receive His love? I don’t believe so. I believe G-d’s love is unconditional on our capacity to return His love. Otherwise, many of us would be in really bad shape. Is this what the Church teaches?

This is a trail that ought be discussed on a different thread.

I think the prodigal son might be a good read too.

No, the Church teaches that God’s love is unconditional.

No, Jesus would never hate anyone. We read in the gospels that He got angry but look at the reasons. It was His Father’s house they desecrated and the so called holy men who thought they were above everyone else, but hate no.He was telling them for their own sake

Judas sinned against the Holy Spirit, by thinking his sin was above forgiving, believe that all Judas had to say was ‘Lord I am sorry’ Read the Bible, you will find alot of what you are asking and what you seek is there. God bless you and keep you close.

Hatred is strictly a human foible. God created the emotions for us to learn from and through but is not subject to them himself.

what sin would be worse than judas’s sin
