I’ve read stories on Padre Pio’s life and what struck me was how religiously devoted and holy he was even from a very young age. He would devote himself to penance, solitude and contemplative prayer when other boys were out playing children’s games. He was also gifted with visions of Christ, our Lady and the saints. It seems to me it is very possible that this remarkable man of God never even committed a mortal sin his entire life. It’s very likely wouldn’t you say?
