Dear EJ,
This is not politically correct to say these days, but Catholics are not allowed to participate in the services of heretical churches. The Catholic Church cannot be the one true Church founded by Christ and not be at the same time. If it is, then the other churches are lacking. Why would you want anything less?
By our baptism all Catholics are called to be evangelical Christians with a small “e”.
