sO AT WHAT POINT DOES HAVING A LEGAL PRODUCTIVE CAREER AS WELL AS A FAMILY BECOME SERVING MAMON/i UNDERSTOOD MAMON WAS EVIL SO WHEN IS A CAREER CONSIDERED EVIL
At the point where you put the career above God’s will. If it is God’s will to have a career and family, it is a good thing. However, once having these things look good on the outside at the neglect of God, it is evil

So what happens when your plans to stay home and raise your family go awry? what if your husband gets sick and dies(my sister lost her husband at thirty years old very suddenly she had three kids, or when you put twenty years into your kids and your husband finds another younger more interesting lady and you are left destitute )My advice to ALL women whether you work outside or not is keep your options open keep up your education, do some volunteer work at what your education level is .Never take it for granted that you or your spouse will live long enough or have health good enough to raise your kids to adulthood .Smugness is everyone’s enemy(my friend just passed away with leukemia leaving a fifteen year old ) don’t take anything for granted life happens and changes

Is it possible to have faith, family, and career, all at the same time? I realize that they can be competing priorities at times, so it’s never an easy task to balance them. But I suppose people, like Mitt Romney, have been able to do that, quite successfully. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you.
I don’t know why a person can’t have it all in this country! 😉 We have tons of ways to deal with balancing acts nowadays, really.
I believe it is possible to have it all because I basically do! 😉 I am very blessed with a large family, a satisfying career, and my faith. I have to juggle things around a bit because I am a working musician who also is a primary caregiver to my grandchildren. It gets very hectic, but I am not complaining at all…I just feel that God has given me numerous blessings.
If a person prepares ahead of time for a family and a career, there is no reason why that person can’t have it, if s/he is practical. I mean, don’t set yourself up for an amazing career if there is no demand for your specialty. Make sure that people want what you have to offer (job-wise) first. Then incorporate your family into the mix. It isn’t that hard in today’s world.
I think, though, that many women work who don’t really want to, and instead want to be at home with their children. I am blessed that I did not have to make that choice. I was always able to schedule my work around my family, with my husband’s help. That’s another thing, both partners should be down with whatever the plan is.
But sure you can have it all! 👍

Yes it also depends on how capable the mother is.I know stay at home moms who couldn’t organise a raffle even with a good spouse’s income… and other single women can raise six good kids and by necessity hold down a job,.so it’s a silly argument ,manufactured by two bit politicians to pit women against each other and take the focus away from the political gaffes in health care/ child care /and senior care .Don’t you see? when women are dissing each othe r it’s divide and conquer.Don’t fall for it stay united … you never know when you might have to eat your words
