Is it possible to have the cremated remains of spouses placed together?

I’ve seen a lot of questions about the catholic belief of burying your cremated remains rather than keeping them in an urn in your home. I wanted to be placed in a double urn with my spouse (with a divider of course) and then be buried. Is that acceptable?

Dear friend,

Catholics are not allowed to keep cremated remains at home. They are required to have them interred at a Catholic cemetery or mausoleum. I’m sure that having the remains of relatives interred next to each other is possible.
