Is it possible to pray an Act if Consecration to the Sacred Heart on behalf of someone else in hopes of their conversion?

I’ve heard of people doing this. I’m not sure if it’s legit or not unless they eventually accept it, but hopefully it helps???

Russia didn’t ask to be consecrated so if we can do a nation then why not an individual?..

I could be wrong but I don’t think so. this seems much like Mormons
temple work [ being baptized for folks long dead from a list of names
they acquired ]

Of course it is - praying for others is an act of charity and faith. St Monica famously prayed for St Augustine’s (her son) conversion.

Bishops, have consecrated cities, Dioceses, Popes have consecrated nations and the entire world.

One can say a prayer of consecration over those over whom you have authority.

For us average Joe and Jane Catholic, we could say a prayer of consecration for our minor children.
