I think I’m depressed. Those are Bunlival verses. Part of the Bible is in allegory form. I hope this is one. I got comfortable in my Spirit leaving my body=STAT! In fact, if there is no body, we have to go somewhere. The Limbo of the Father’s?? Waiting for the Last Trumpet. Some pictures have caught spirits leaving a body by happenstance. A scientific experiment was done, w pts. permission, to put him on a scale, during his death moments. There was a drop in weight when he died. Ounces-don’t know how much.

This thread reminds me of that time I was teaching my kids about the “resurrection of the body” and respectful behavior at cemeteries.

Me: “Yes, kids, all these people buried here hundreds of years ago will rise from the dead!”

Kids, horrified: “What, like zombies?!?”

This is one of my fears, being buried alive.

If you’re going to be embalmed, you have nothing to worry about.

I’m more concerned with waking up on an autopsy table, which has happened! Well, I don’t worry about it, but it has crossed my mind.

If that was a problem could you imagine the problem of being cremated.

though i am interested to know what is the purpose of having internal organs, genitals, and a reproductive system after one is resurrected. Let alone a human( ish/oid) " body " .

I have no idea myself. Maybe we won’t have all the “parts” we have today. Just don’t know.
