Is it Scrupulous?

I’ll dive right in…

My neighbors across the street put out their Christmas tree for pickup and it never got picked up. I suppose there’s a number they need to call to have that service done. Shortly after I noticed the tree was now in front of my next door neighbors curb to my side. Same result the tree stayed there. I came home last night from a road trip only to find this elusive tree has found its way in front of my curb! (It’s a Chrismas miracle! just kidding, ha ha). So after a brief meeting in the van with my family we decided to move the tree back across the street.

Now, in my head I did think to simply leave the tree and then cut it up and take care of it but then went with the decision to simply return their tree. (I was tired after driving 8 hours, no excuse, I know).

Should I have just taken care of the tree myself? Or was it ok what I did? Am I being scrupulous in thinking I haven’t loved my neighbor as we’re called to do? Did I simply stand up from being a dumping grounds for my neighbors?

Thank you and God Bless

I truly do appreciate all of your comments and feedback.

Maybe it was windy. Maybe some kids did it. Maybe you could have just taken care of it. Scrupulous? I don’t know.

What I do know is you are spending way too much time over this, to the point that you came on here and are continuing to think about it by making a thread.

Let it go.

I think it’s fine to return it to its owner. 😂🤣 They are trying to get someone else to do their chores for them and you don’t need to be a doormat.

You are going to suffer eternal perdition, if you don’t grab that Xmas tree, walk up to that door, pound on it, and say:
