Is it sinful for me to attend my sister's civil ceremony?

after reading further posts, the issue concerning my sister’s wedding seems more complicated. She will be married tomorrow in a civil ceremony (my sister is catholic) with her fiancee who is a non-believer. By my attendence at the ceremony, am I in a sense validating their union which is invalid in the eyes of the church?

my sis has fallen away from the church. She does not follow the church teachings and attends mass once in a blue moon. how do i impress upon her the error of her decision. Her argument regarding most issues that the church teaches is that the catholic church has to get with the times.
