Ok, first off I am a practicing Catholic and I hold to heart all the the Church teaches. I know I am a sinner and not perfect but I try every day to be the person Christ wants me to be and I ask every day to have his will be done for me and my family.
I am a mother to 3 young boys and I love reading and I happen to like the Harry Potter series and just got into the Twilight series. I am wondering if it is sinful to read these books and see the movies for entertainment? I do NOT believe in witchcraft or vampires or anything of the sort, I just find the whole lot entertaining and was wondering if maybe I shouldn’t read these around my children…note I said AROUND and not TO. Any comments or words of advice??
