Is it sinful to watch a television show about the occult?

I watched a TV episode on my laptop. In this episode a character got possessed. Is my laptop, room, or myself in any danger? And was it a sinful action to watch occult practices as part of an entertainment, although fictitious? (The characters meant to summon the ghost, but didn’t mean to get possessed. The series overall is not focused on the occult.)

I was/ am in a state of grace (no mortal sin) and I put holy water on the laptop. I don’t notice anything weird at all. But what does an expert have to say about this?
