Is it still a sin if done while asleep?

I know this sounds silly, but I was wondering. Let’s say someone does something sinful, like saying mean things to a person, but it’s done while the person is sleeping (so it would be sleep talking?) And would it be the same for more serious/ mortal/grave sins?
