At what point, if ever, do you decide that the intention you’re praying for is not God’s will so you stop praying for it? I was talking with my mom about this and she accused me of giving up or having no faith. In my mind, I have faith that the intention I was praying for is not God’s will due to roadblock after roadblock barring it from happening that I’ve sadly accepted it and stopped praying for it. To continue praying for it seemed to foster false hope which only made me feel worse.

One should never “give up” on an intention that God is bringing to their hearts.
However, one should always examine one’s intentions and see if God is calling that person to a time away from focused prayer for one’s own mental health.

We never give up. We switch our mindset. Pray for God’s will. If it’s HIs will, you’ll get it. If it isn’t, you’ll get something better happens, or possibly be spared from a disaster.

that GOD’S will be done, it is the BEST
way to pray b/c we are finite and can only
see and reason so much LESS than what
God sees and reasons. He has the WHOLE
WORLD’S interest at heart and His will is
that the MOST good be done to AS MANY
ppl as possible, we are asked to COOPERATE
with Him in seeking His Kingdom, where right-
eousness reigns!!(2 Pet. 3:13)
