Is it wrong to go on strike?

Is it wrong to go on a legal strike, organised by a trade union?

There could be a possibility of a legal strike in my profession (in order to protect an attack on working conditions). I am just not sure how God would feel about those who would participate in a legal strike.

Hi,

The Catholic Church recognizes the right of laborers to stand up against injustices against them. The morality of each strike needs to be judged on the merits of its’ particular situation.
God expects you to weigh the pros and cons and make an honest decision.
