Is it wrong to go to Mass twice on Sunday?

Wow, sorry, but there is an entire thread here about going to Mass twice. Someone tells me, HERE, that receiving twice regularly is a problem. So, since I have a question, I am to go to my priest? That seems a little odd. 🤷

I know that it isn’t a problem. If it was, my priest would have said something to me. But since others will read this thread and read the comment by Cluny, I thought it best to ask for clarification about receiving twice, since the comment seemed very clear that one shouldn’t receive twice on a regular basis.

What I said was that receiving Communion twice in one day is supposed to be extraordinary.

Not everything in the Church is legislated for.

Some people are needlessly complicating the question. Going to Mass and receiving communion at Mass twice in one day is fine; there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it and the Church does not discourage it.
 
Okay, I am adding on to this.

So, I did end up going to 11am, and our CCD teacher didn’t let us out of the class until 2 minutes before Mass started, so I guess they started Mass a little early, because I was walking to the church and I could hear the organ playing and the bells began to ring. Is it a sin to be late for Mass? I got in there and they were still singing, so I don’t really know.
 
I have had to attend Mass three times in one weekend because of an extreme lack of altar servers. I felt VERY good after that! 😉
 
Just last Sunday I went to Mass twice, once with Mom & Dad, and the other with my Sisters.

But I have gone to Mass 3 times in one day, but that was just for fun 😃
