Is it wrong to put up Christmas decorations early?

Is it wrong for me to decorate my house before Christmas? My family always has started around the Feast of St. Nicholas on December 6. Is that wrong?
 
No, it’s a personal choice. Some people choose to wait for Christmas in order both to more fully celebrate Advent and to keep Christmas decorations up throughout the Christmas season (which traditionally ends on January 6), but there is no requirement to do so. If you prefer to start early, that’s perfectly fine.
