Thanks to everyone for their advice so far! Unfortunately, there’s bad news. I’ve just found out that the priest has left to go to Italy and he won’t be back for a month. I had just written a letter and I was going to pass it on to the priest but now he won’t be back for a while. There are another two priests in that church but I don’t know them that much and they’re not as approachable as the other one. What am I meant to do now? I’m so frustrated!

You can use the month to prepare the confession well as he will be back ? A month sounds like a long time and it is when you are waiting and I do feel for you. When you made an important decision like that and then feel stuck? However you

can trying approaching the other priests and you may be suprised to discover they are as approachable carefully explaining your own predicament about parents not approving of confession. You may be suprised and find the other two priests are as supportive?

Yes, I am in deep mortal sin. My parents don’t feel comfortable with me going to confession. They think that if you simply tell God ‘sorry’ all is forgiven.

Is it possible for satan to have the power to do this?

How about calling the priest and arranging a meeting? You could plan it in advance and then meet him…priests are good about making appts for confession.
