Where did Jesus say that He is “not” the true God? He didn’t. He said:

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

But He also said:

“I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)

Do you believe that? If you do then you know that Jesus is also the true God. And there are many other passages that demonstrate this. Like this one:

“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58)

yes… he did not say “Im not the True God” hahhaha. Shame on you dearko88. read the bible!🙂

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
is jesus spoke to himself or to the Father when he said that “they may know you…the ONLY true God…” when you say only it means no other than father…then why you proclaim that jesus is god?

“I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)

are one? what one? one God? this chapter jesus not clearly that he is god?

jesus also spoke that my father is greater than i . if jesus is true God …why there is someone who greater than him?

Thanks

ok Dearko88. What is CoC’s Interpretation on Jesus Saying “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)?

“What one?” The one and only true God!
jesus also spoke that my father is greater than i . if jesus is true God …why there is someone who greater than him?
Because Jesus became Man and suffered, as we all suffer, even unto a horrible death. But the Father remained in perfect bliss. Would you rather stay in a state of bliss or be crucified? 🙂

is God became Man?

if it were true that jesus is both God and Man, then His prayer would be nothing less than
superficial. it would appear that he was praying to himself, which is truly an inconsistency. and why would jesus , if he were the same God as the one to whom he was praying, pray to himself?

superficial.
dearko88 what is superficial?

maybe you are saying words you cant understand?
maybe that comes from the pasugo? and you dont even understand what it means!?

Yes, Jesus is God. Read Hebrews 1:1-14. Verse 8 says; BUT UNTO THE SON HE SAITH, THY THRONE,O GOD, IS FOR EVER AND EVER: A SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS THE SCEPTER OF THY KINGDOM* Godbless**meti

Jesus say’s only the Father knows the Son and only the Son knows the Father. God knowing God.
Knowledge is a union of likeness. If, only you knew God and only God knew you, the only reason would be because your likeness to God makes you indistinguishable from God for the rest of ‘all’ creation. Only you know God and no one else knows Him as you do , and only God knows you and no one else knows you like God does. This would be because no one else could ‘know’ you or God because no one else is like you and God.
God the Son calls God the Father greater because the Father eternally generates God the Son. God eternally generates Cognizance of Himself. God knowing God. The Word of God is eternally generated the Father is not generated.

John 8:58

Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM.”

John 1:1,14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.

in a word YES, Jesus Christ is God. Read the Gospels.

Jesus say’s only the Father knows the Son and only the Son knows the Father. God knowing God.
if jesus is God…why he dont know the time when of the judgement day? he said …no one knows…not even the angel but the father alone?

dearko88

if Jesus is not God then, how come Jesus is the only one who knows God and only God knows Jesus?🙂

Phillipians Ch. 2
5 For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.

Is Jesus God?

Well, let us see the story from the begining

God said what means:

**33. Certainly, Allâh chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imrân above the worlds.
34. Offspring, one of the other, and Allâh is the All-Hearer, All-Knower.
  1. (Remember) when the wife of 'Imrân said: “O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing.”
  2. Then when she delivered her [child Mary], she said: “O my Lord! I have delivered a female child,” - and Allâh knew better what she delivered, - “And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge with You Allâh for her and for her offspring from Satan, the outcast.”
  3. So her Lord (Allâh) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zachariya. Every time Zachariya entered Al-Mihrâb (a praying place) to (visit) her, he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: “O Mary! From where have you got this?” She said, “This is from Allâh.” Verily, Allâh provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit."
  4. At that time Zachariya invoked his Lord, saying: “O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.”
  5. Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihrâb, (saying): “Allâh gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming (believing in) the Word from Allâh, noble, keeping away from sexual relations with women, a Prophet, from among the righteous.”
  6. He said: “O my Lord! How can I have a son when I am very old, and my wife is barren?” Allâh said: “Thus Allâh does what He wills.”
  7. He said: “O my Lord! Make a sign for me.” Allâh said: “Your sign is that you shall not speak to mankind for three days except with signals. And remember your Lord much (by praising Him again and again), and glorify (Him) in the afternoon and in the morning.”
  8. And (remember) when the angels said: "O Mary! Verily, Allâh has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the worlds
    "
  9. O Mary! “Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allâh) and prostrate yourself, and bow down along with those who bow down.”
  10. This is a part of the news of the Ghaib (unseen, i.e. the news of the past nations of which you have no knowledge) which We inspire you with (O Muhammad PBUH). You were not with them, when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary; nor were you with them when they disputed.
  11. (Remember) when the angels said: “O Mary! Verily, Allâh gives you the glad tidings of a Word “Be!” - and he was! i.e. (Jesus) the son of Mary] from Him, his name will be the Messiah Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allâh.”
  12. “He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.”
  13. She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.” He said: "So (it will be) for Allâh creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is.
  14. And He (Allâh) will teach him (Jesus) the Book and Wisdom, (and) the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).
  15. And will make him [Jesus] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allâh’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allâh’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.
  16. And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurât (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allâh and obey me.
  17. Truly! Allâh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is the Straight Path.
  18. Then when Jesus came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allâh’s Cause?” the disciples said: “We are the helpers of Allâh; we believe in Allâh, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allâh).”
  19. Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger so write us down among those who bear witness.
  20. And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill Jesus], and Allâh planned too. And Allâh is the Best of the planners.
  21. And (remember) when Allâh said: “O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allâh) superior to those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.”
  22. “As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.”
  23. And as for those who believe and do righteous good deeds, Allâh will pay them their reward in full. And Allâh does not like the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).
  24. This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad PBUH) of the Verses and the Wise Reminder (i.e. the Qur’ân).
  25. Verily, the likeness of Jesus before Allâh is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: “Be!” - and he was.
  26. The truth is from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.
  27. Then whoever disputes with you concerning him (Jesus) after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, say: (O Muhammad PBUH) “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allâh upon those who lie.”
  28. Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of Jesus], and, there is no God but Allah And indeed, Allâh is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
  29. And if they turn away, then surely, Allâh is All-Aware of those who do mischief.
  30. Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh. Then, if they turn away, say: “Bear witness that we are Muslims.” **
I hope it is clear now

May Allah guide those who seek His guidance.

Peace.

Is Jesus God?

Well, let us see the story from the begining
But this is just “the story” according to the Qu’ran, which Christians do not believe is true. You must know that the Bible is our scripture. Therefore quoting passages from the Qu’ran will not convince any Christians of anything. Sorry.

ows? if jesus is God then why he pray to the other God?

in john 17:3 jesus clearly testified that the true God is father not him
Don’t fall into the trap of taking Scripture out of context!

Read the entire chapter, the entire Gospel, the entire Bible.

The next 2 verses in John’s Gospel say; “I glorified thee on earth, having accomplished the work which thou gavest me to do; and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made.” (Jn 17:4-5.)

Jesus was glorified with God before the world was made.

There is only one God, revealed to us in three persons, the Trinity.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us: "The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life. It is the mystery of God in himself. It is therefore the source of all the other mysteries of faith, the light that enlightens them. It is the most fundamental and essential teaching in the “hierarchy of the truths of faith”. The whole history of salvation is identical with the history of the way and the means by which the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, reveals himself to men “and reconciles and unites with himself those who turn away from sin”. (CCC 234)

The Apostle John starts his Gospel; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” (Jn 1:1-3.)

Just as in Genesis when God created man "Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” (Gen 1:26.) God says “Let us make man in our image…” The plural “us” and “our” is the Trinity! He doesn’t say “let me make man in my image.”

God says " then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." (Gen 2:7.)

The Apostle John, speaking of Jesus says "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” (Jn 20:22-23.)

**GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT, ONE GOD, 3 PERSONS, THE MOST HOLY TRINITY!!!
**
Don’t fall for Satan’s lies, don’t parse words and take the Sacred Scriptures out of context.

Listen to the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth, the Fullness of Truth, The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church that Jesus gave us to guide us with the Power of the Holy Spirit!!!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!
