Is "Jesus of Nazareth" on air in the U.S. this week?

Who remembers this classic t.v. production, starring Robert Powell as Christ? 🙂 It used to be a tradition for a lot of networks in different areas to run it during Easter season. If you live in the U.S., this might be something to look for. Even if you don’t, and you get a chance to see it on DVD, I think you’ll enjoy it. In my opinion it is still one of the most well-written, intelligent and well-acted portrayals of the life of Christ yet made. My mother still regards Powell with great respect, for this reason. 🙂
 
I assume it will be on. It usually airs on the history channel starting in the morning and finishing up in the evening. I always liked this production.

TBN is showing Jesus of Nazareth beginning tomorrow night. It will air in four 90 minutes segments. No commercials:)
