Is Joe Biden Mentally Fit to be President?

Headline should probably read Morally … but OK, let’s give this mental vetting its inning too.

It’s been done before and not just with mere candidates.

Trump was supposedly “unhinged” … for a time when the mainstrem media repeated that word multiple times per day in search of an infectious Pavlovian response from enough of the public to remove him.

Guess the Pres got better, cos’ the vaunted impeachment charges proferred by his enemies were devoid of any reference to his mental capabilities. < which WOULD have been closer to a high crime or misdemeanor (less the criminal aspects) than the sketchy abuse of power and contempt of congress canards used by his enemies to try to invalidate an election.

Why don’t we determine this by an election first, this November …

The impeachment issues are a consideration. Not everybody thinks they were weak charges. Many of us do not like using ones office out of self centered cheating.
 
If Joe’s mental faculties are failing this could actually be a factor in a Sanders revival.

If Joe Biden does win the presidency it could be in name only as it would be an embarrassment (at the least) to ‘let’ him have any sort of free reign as commander in chief.

Even if true, I’d still favor a candidate for President who is forgetful over one who is a serial liar.
 
I have wondered if they would do a President Kennedy and begin giving Biden amphetamines to wake him up. Amphetamines have been used for treating narcolepsy and mental confusion.
 
He forgot he wasn’t arrested on South African soil the day Mandela was released?
 
No, I don’t believe Biden is up to the job.

As for plying him with amphetamines, that’s all we need – a drugged up Pres.!

Is he FINALLY MEANT to be President.

The press is working on the latter. But the FINALLY reminds us he wasn’t before (and now he’s even older).
 
I think we can say that Biden is not really his own man but he would be a figurehead for a ‘behind the scenes’ Democratic Party. Who, I wonder. will be pulling the strings?

Who will Democrats actually be voting for?

I literally burst out laughing when I read this thread’s title. Now we’re concerned about the mental fitness of the POTUS? At least with Biden, he would create a cabinet of educated, knowledgeable folks around him and wouldn’t pretend he can manage everything on his own.
 
I’d say the difference is with Trump, folks were asking questions of his temperment, not whether he was getting senile.

Not saying either is inappropriate to question, but they are not the same question, and as such, I’d say asking this now of Biden is just as appropriate as when people questioned Trump’s temperment to be CINC.

No, people were and are asking about Trump’s mental fitness, not simply his temperament. Type “Donald Trump mentally fit” into Google and see what you find.
 
Even still, what makes you think it was or is inappropriate? Your evidence seems to counter your objection. People asked, and found Trump mentally fit enough. People will ask the same of Biden, and we will see.
 
And questions about urinating on prostitutes. Regardless, I find it odd Grace would object or find it odd herself that people are asking questions about Biden. People obviously believed Trump was mentally fit enough to be elected. Whether they feel that way about Biden remains to be seen.

As far as Biden’s claims go, feel free to post whatever you want to support what you believe Biden said. We can bring up his work with Deng Xiao Ping too if you want.
