Is Joe Biden Mentally Fit to be President?

Not necessarily if the voting public’s mental faculties are also failing, which seems to be the case, given the qualitative decline in the last few Presidents we’ve had, as well as everything else wrong with our society.

We’ve had precedent regarding presidencies in name only. Look at GWB, for example, and what a wonderful presidency his was! Perhaps Reagan as well, in which, at least during his second term, the WH may very well have been run by Nancy, not Ronnie.

Ahh, but random amateur pundits on the internet cannot make up “disorders” and attempt to pass them off as clinically accepted psychiatric disorders…its kind of like an elected official trying to pass off “hunches” as sound medical advice that counters what his own trained medical advisers say.

From this week’s issue of The Spectator:

I met Joe Biden last month, after one of his town hall events in New Hampshire. His team had turned the music up loud, presumably so that 77-year-old Joe — the gaffe machine from Scranton, Pennsylvania — would not be recorded saying something stupid as he mingled with the fans and reporters. I shook Biden’s hand and — limey hack that I am — asked: ‘Mr Vice President, how, as President, would you approach Brexit Britain and Boris Johnson?’ ‘What?’ he said. I repeated the question, shouting this time. ‘What?’ he said again, smiling. His dentures were brilliant; his eyes mad blue. He had no idea what I was talking about. I tried one last time, screaming ‘Boris Johnson!’ in his ear. Somewhere deep in his psyche, something stirred. ‘Bori…,’ he said. Then the emptiness returned and he went to hug some old ladies.

It’s not fair to mock the elderly, and no doubt US politicians have far more pressing matters on their minds than Brexit. But Joe Biden is emerging as the Democratic party’s choice to be the next leader of the free world, and he’s clearly not all there.

Joe Biden has had an aneurysm. Some degree of brain injury happens with an aneurysm. It’s usually localized to one section of the brain and not global.

Comparing Joe Biden clips from a few years back he doesn’t seem significantly different.

Just as arrogant today as he was back then. I’ve seen those earlier clips, too.

I am glad I am as old as I am and won’t have to live in the “new” America nor see its final collapse.

Just old! Nothing wrong with just old but what does the country need? some one Buttigieg’s (sorry if misspelled) age with morals.

The question is how will his mental fitness be over the next 4 years. He already has to be led around by his
wife and sister as they prompt him up at each campaign stop.

RedState updated their article to point that out. But I guess Dan Scavino might have a little splainin’ to do since there is no reason whatsoever to stoop to the level of desperation the Democrats and leftist media engaged in these past 3-4 years. Trump’s pro-American accomplishments can easily stand on their own, while Biden’s own history of flip-flops and ridiculous gaffes should make any level-headed American voter want to steer clear.

Maybe we should ask ourselves if we the voter are mentally fit to decide who leads us. Not trying to be sarcastic just trying to understand it differently.

If the answer is no then that speaks against democracy and we have come full circle to where exactly?

In a democracy we give power to our elected representatives to carry out the will of the majority (suppose to be like this) however we have a system of individualism. The fact that individual people are involved would suggest a FAR from perfect system and that any failing of our elected leader is merely part of us. We put them there we are directly responsible for their actions weather of sane mind or not.

No this is not against democracy merely a part of it. No I am not suggesting computers or robots either, maybe just maybe a realignment of what democracy should be.
