Is Judas in Hell?

I had asked a priest if he thought that Judas was sentenced to hell. He said that he was a chosen one of the twelve and did desire to be with God, however his actions did conflict with Catholic teachings. The priest did say that he feels that Judas did enter heaven. What does the Catholic Church teach on this subject?
