Is Lenten meat-abstinence suppressed (USA)?

To whom this may concern:

I was told, variously, that Lenten Friday meat-abstinence was no longer required; that it was now required, only up until the age of 70; and that it was still in force except in the dioceses of Mexico.

Which of these if any, is true?

That is incorrect. Catholics in the USA are required to abstain from meat on all Fridays of Lent. There is no age limit for abstinence from meat.
