I have come to terms that downloading music on the internet for free is wrong unless given permission to do so. How about listening to music? is that a sin? For example, with the new age of technology, I can go to Youtube and hear any video, or music I want. Would it be a sin to hear the song as many times as I want so long as I don’t download it for free?
If the sin lies in downloading for free, then the loophole would be that I take my android or Iphone to the gym, go on the internet , hear the song on youtube, and I do not have to download it. Is it not the same thing as downloading? So where do I draw the line? Is listening to something I don’t own a sin? Because if this is the case all I have to do is take my phone to the gym and listen to songs off the interent without having to download them. Hmm…I tell you, the road to sanctity is getting harder and harder everday…lol
