It is not a sin to love the world. The world is a creation of God and it is good. God so loved the world that He gave His Son.
However, everything needs to be put in its proper perspective. Love of the world must always be secondary to love of God. We should never love creation more than its Creator. Its that kind of disordered love that Scripture condemns.
So, go ahead and enjoy your video games and such but don’t let them interfere with your love of God or your responsibilities as a Christian.
