My daughter is married in the Anglican church as her husband is Anglican. Can this be accepted in the catholic church as valid marriage sacramental:highprayer:?

Will she be allowed to receive communion?:blessyou:

Dear friend,

Catholics are obliged to marry through the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church does not recognize the marriage of a Catholic in a non Catholic Church without permission. Otherwise, such a marriage will not be considered valid or sacramental. For a Catholic to marry outside the Catholic Church is a mortal sin and every time such a person has marital relations to someone who is not one’s spouse, that is a mortal sin.

Catholics should ALWAYS begin preparing for marriage by seeing their priest first!
