Is Mary offered at Mass?

I read that Mary, with and in Jesus, offers and is offered at Mass. How is this to be understood in relation to Catholic doctrine? I asked this in another forum, but I didn’t get a straight answer. Thanks and God Bless.

Hi,

Mary is the channel that the Father chose through whom He sent His Son to redeem us. For all eternity she will be known for this.

But it was Jesus alone who suffered and redeemed us on the cross. It is that same sacrifice of Jesus that we celebrate at Mass. In so far as we are all members of Him, we all share in His life. But we are not Him. Nor is Mary.

I don’t doubt that whoever wrote that meant to honor our Lady. But such discourse can be confusing to read because it makes her sound like God.
