Is masturbation murder?

This might seem like a crazy question, but if life starts at conception, this couldn’t be possible. Don’t get me wrong, I know masturbation is of grave matter, but is there any teaching that would say masturbation is murder?
 
Yes masturbation is Murder. But the only person it murders is our own souls.

No, because sperm cells in your body are constantly dieing and being created anyway.

But it will murder our conscience, and I agree: your soul. Though, confession and absolution with genuine repentance can revive thine drooping spirit.
 
Masturbation is not conception. It is just a cell from your body. Only when a sperm is united with a woman’s egg does a new life begin (human DNA distinct from both mother’s DNA and father’s DNA).
 
Lol are you talking about murdering the sperm?

If thats the case you might as well say that a woman having her period is murder because her body gets rid of the egg.

Thank you! It made me think myself for a moment when I corrected someone on their misconception about Catholic teaching. I just had to make sure and knew this was the place to go! 👍
