Hi and thank you for taking my question. I was sick with cold on the Sunday before Christmas and missed Mass. I thought I would be well enough for Mass by Christmas day, but I just kept getting worse. On Christmas day when I woke up, I felt awful. I showered and dressed and went to my inlaws for dinner, thinking I would attend the afternoon Mass at 3:30. I got worse during the day and went home early without going to Mass. Did I commit a mortal sin on those two days? I didn’t think I did and since attended Mass and Communion, but now I’m having second thoughts. I would never hurt Our Lord in this way and will go to confession if necessary. Thank you.
