Hi, I don’t know if I am asking in the correct forum.
I’m not native English speaker so please bear with my broken English.
I was born in the non-christian family, though my mom is a non-practicing Catholic.
(That means I was the only Catholic/Christian in my family)
I was baptized 6 years ago and received Confirmation 4 years ago. Now I’m starting worry whether my Confirmation is a valid one or not:-
2 days before confirmation (which was set on Easter Sunday Mass), I’ve been told that we, the candidate must go to confession before being confirmed. So I went on Good Friday. I was addicted to masturbation during that time. 1 day after my confession and a day before confirmation, I masturbated once again (I have no access to pornography at that time because there’s no computer or any media).
So is my Confirmation valid, as I may have done a mortal sin? (because I wasn’t being forced to masturbate)
help,
